Hawaiian Bistro
After a long wait, the day has finally come! Hawaiian Bistro has officially opened its new branch at Grand Indonesia West Mall on Level 5. The grand opening took place on August 8, where guests were treated to a delectable array of Hawaiian cuisines, accompanied by an ukulele music performance and the Hawaiian hula dance that set a perfect mood for the night.
As its own name suggests, the restaurant exudes a strong Hawaiian theme with a wooden interior decoration and Hawaiian signature hibiscus flowers that adorn the venue. For those with bigger appetites, Hawaiian Bistro is certainly the place for you as it serves a hearty portion of food.
Guests can choose to order from a delectable array of appetizers, mains and desserts, and among the bistro's signatures are:
"Ono" Musubi
A part of the restaurant's "da kine" classic appetizers, the menu is a Japanese style rice block wrapped with spam and nori. Don't forget to dip this "perfect snack", as the restaurant puts it, into the sauce for better flavours.
Loco Moco
Jumping into the main course, guests can try this signature classic of Hawaiian Bistro, which is a complete Hawaiian meal. It features two juicy hamburger patties with one layer of egg that are smothered by a brown gravy. The menu includes two scoops of rice and a choice of macaroni or green salad on the side.
Coffee Jelly
Finish off your meal on a sweet note with Hawaiian Bistro's coffee jelly, made from espresso and served with vanilla ice cream to match. A shot of Kahlua is added into the dessert, creating a unique sensation to its flavour.
All in all, it was a great night surrounded by fun entertainments and good food. Thank you Hawaiian Bistro for the exciting experience! We certainly would love to come back for more.
