La Hoya

Located at Gandaria City, La Hoya Comida Mexicana is one of the very few authentic Mexican restaurants in Jakarta. As one of the member of @arena_corp, which houses some of the renowned restaurants in Jakarta such as Hong Kong Cafe, Penang Bistro, Maison Tatsuya, Delika and Seribu Rasa, La Hoya will raise your expectations high, because there really are reasons why you should.

Its strategic location on the first floor at the mall's Main Street area makes it easy for the passerby to spot as they make their way through the food galore. La Hoya boasts homey indoor and outdoor spaces that feature classical modern interior and, of course, a true Mexican ambiance. Smokers can opt for the outdoor area while non-smokers can stay inside, which enable them to enjoy their meals according to their own preferences.

The menu highlights its Los Nachos, Las Quesadilla, Taco and Churros. Sourced from fresh ingredients, La Hoya's range of menu comes in various choices of Mexican favorite dipping sauce, such as the sour cream, guacamole and tomato salsa.

Mexican food is not complete without its small bites or snack. Among the eight choices of snacks offered by this Mexican joint, our favorite menu falls to its signature tortilla chips, Los Nachos. Served in a bucket, the chips are dressed with cheddar cheese sauce, homemade beef chorizo, jalapeno pickles, sour cream, guacamole and fresh pico de gallo.

La Hoya's soft and crispy tacos are also the ones you would not want to miss. The fillings range from fish to shrimp, beef and chicken, allowing the guests to choose whichever they would like to try, with each portion consisting of three pieces of tacos. The crispy beef taco, or Taco de Barbacoa as they name it, is our favorite pick. It is filled with pulled beef, beef chorizo, pico de gallo, cabbage and lettuce dressed with mango chipotle sauce. And of course, not to forget the dipping sauce, the menu comes with guacamole, sour cream and cheddar cheese.

Indeed, La Hoya is definitely worth the try, especially for those who fancy some exotic Mexican flavors. Delicioso!
