Coffee Culture in Indonesia is growing rapidly in the last 2-3 years. There are lots of coffee shops opening up lately, especially in the West Jakarta area. One of them is Simetri Coffee Roasters, located at Jl. Kembang Abadi 7 Blok A13 No 15, Puri Indah.

It is surrounded by a residential area, making it stands out among the neighborhood building. With an eye-catching architecture and interior design, it attracts a lot of attention from the outside.

Here are some of the food and beverages that we tried over there

Coco Spro (32k)
This is a unique beverage, an Americano mixed with a lemon water. Even though there's a slightly bitter taste from the espresso, it actually gives a refreshing flavour

Affogato (35k)
Like any other Affogatos, it is served with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream and a glass of espresso. But what makes it different is that there's a bit of a peanut almond sprinkle on top of the ice cream, a suitable combination.

Cappucino (35k)
This is the one must-try beverage of every coffee shops. Simetri's cappuccino flavor is not too strong and too bitter, actually suits my palette perfectly.
By the way, they roast their own coffee, and all the customers can see the roasting process because the machine is located at the front area of the shop. We can also buy their roasted coffee beans

Breakfast Monty (65k)
This menu is quite large and can actually be shared with the others. It comes with sautéed mushroom, beef bacons, potato, egg, garlic bread & greens.

Pan Egg Chorizo (49k)
This is the one menu with a unique kind of serving. It comes with a hot pan, and several french breads and mayonnaise. It is a combination of Spanish pan egg, pepper chorizo sausage & roasted potato.

All in all, with a comfy and cozy place they have, for sure we will be coming back again to try another menus.
